| Bad Ass Bandana will be staging the Indoor Ski Jumping Championships as part of the 62nd Annual Penetanguishene Winterama festival February 19-21, 2010. The event will be held at the Penetanguishene Curling Club (8 Owen St.) on Friday from 7:00pm to 11:00pm and on Saturday from 12pm to 3pm at Captain Ken's Restaurant (Main Street). | February 5, 2010 - The team of Graydon Oldfield and Don Monteith of the Scotia McLeod office in Barrie, hosted physicians from Midland and Barrie at the Osler Bluffs Ski Club on Thursday, February 4. Local physicians participating were Dr. David Bayfield (ER), Dr. Jennifer Johnson (FM/Hospitalist), Dr. Moira MacSween (ER), Dr. Osso Chabikuli (FM/ER), Dr. Clara Chabikuli (FM/Hospitalist). It was a fantastic day with complimentary lessons, amazing corduroy snow, a post-lunch race, and apres-ski. Many thanks to the team from Oldfield/Monteith Wealth Management and their partners for a great day on the slopes.

| January 19, 2010 - We just got word today that a documentary for OMNI TV about the doctor shortage in Canada called The Big Wait is almost done. The film has been 4 years in the making. It features the efforts of the Southern Georgian Bay area to recruit doctors and Physician Recruiter David Gravelle at work. We will let you know when a screening opportunity is available.
